This policy explains how Migo Studio ("Migo", "I", "me"), operated by Emily, collects, uses, and protects the personal information of anyone who visits migostudio.co.nz or gets in touch about working together.

• Contact form submissions: name, email, business name, and anything you share about your project, budget, and timeline.

• Email sign-ups: your email address, if you subscribe to updates.

• Website analytics: general usage data such as pages visited and device type, collected via Google Analytics.

• Client project information: anything you share to deliver a project — brand assets, account logins, business details.

 

3. How I use it

• To respond to enquiries and discuss potential projects

• To deliver the services you've booked

• To send project updates and invoices

• To send occasional email updates, only if you've opted in — see the subscribe section on the site

• To understand how people use the website, so I can improve it

 

I don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone, ever.

Some information passes through the tools Migo runs on, including:

• Hnry, for billing

• Google Analytics, for website usage data

 

These providers only receive what they need to perform their function, and are bound by their own privacy and security policies.

Information is stored securely using the tools listed above, with access limited to Migo using unique passwords and two-factor authentication where available.
 

7. How long I keep it

Enquiry and project information is kept for as long as needed to deliver services and meet tax and accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask to be removed from the email list at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
 

8. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access the personal information Migo holds about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if it's wrong. To make a request, email hello@migostudio.co.nz. If you're not satisfied with how a privacy concern is handled, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in how Migo operates or in NZ privacy law. The current version is always available on this page.
